Both University of Kent at Canterbury and Christchurch University have leased properties from ourselves in both our Canterbury and Medway accommodation.
We re-furbish our properties to a high standard and complete extensive works on our portfolio every summer. For years we have been able to let our properties mostly on word of mouth as students who rent with us normally stay with us and tell their friends to get in touch.
As standard all our properties come furnished, nearly all rooms have double beds, utility bills (and in some cases broadband and TV licences) are included in the rent price, all bedrooms have their own individual locks and nearly all properties have a communal lounge for a socialising space. We like to make properties feel homely and add finishing touches such as mirrors and canvases.
We have a dedicated team of maintenance staff across all trades and they can quickly attend to any problems that arise and fix them competently.
With over 30 years’ experience dealing directly with the student market, we understand the student pressures and demands and listen to what our tenants are telling us. We are the only student agency in Canterbury who sits on the Higher Education/ Further Education Group. This consists of representatives of the City’s various Student Unions and senior members of the Universities themselves together with resident committees and council members. The committee is chaired by the Deputy Chief Executive of Canterbury City Council and is aimed at uniting the student voice and provide outstanding support and service across the student journey in Canterbury.
